Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents, for engineer or technician grades. A contract agent can be hired if no civil servant applies.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: Bac+3 in civil engineering or equivalent, or bac+5 (engineering school or master's)
The profile they look for:
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years in civil engineering or equivalent, or 5 years (engineering school or master's)
- Knowledge of bridge and structure defects, bridges and walls
- Skills in diagnosis and maintenance of structures and roads
- Knowledge of public property law and public procurement
- Good summary and writing skills
- Driving licence category B
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
