Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the engineer grade of the local civil service.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: Architect assistant licence, BTS Building, Bac Pro, or engineering or architecture degree
The profile they look for:
- Training in AutoCAD and Revit, a requested asset
- Know fire safety and accessibility rules for public buildings
- Know the budget rules of local authorities
- Know building techniques and eco-construction methods
- Strong analysis, rigour and teamwork skills
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
