Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The grades concerned are attaché, ingénieur, rédacteur and technicien, including the senior grades.
Category: Category A (executive)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of network software and hardware.
- Knowledge of operating procedures, norms and standards.
- Knowledge of how the local authority is organised and works.
- Good interpersonal and teaching skills.
- Autonomy, discretion and initiative.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
