Category A civil servants with the Inspecteur.trice du travail or Attaché.e grade can apply, as well as contract staff.
Category: Category A (executive)
The profile they look for:
- Know how the relevant services and their missions are organised.
- Know the regulations that apply to the inspected areas.
- Master inspection and control methods.
- Know the legal procedures for inspection and control.
- Show organisation, method and rigour.
- Work well in a team, including multidisciplinary teams.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is possible.
- Travel within the region, with possible irregular hours during missions (overnight stays).
- The post gives entitlement to a NBI bonus of 25 points.
