Category: Category A (executive)
Experience: Beginners accepted; experience in studies or research preferred (doctoral path or publications)
The profile they look for:
- Economics or sociology of work
- Statistical or econometric methods
- Knowledge of labour and employment policies
- Ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative results
- Ability to write summary notes and articles
- Rigour, autonomy and organisation skills
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 20 (Closes in 19 days)
Send your application by email to the address given in the offer, as a priority, before the deadline. The offer is published on the Choisir le Service Public website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work possible one to two days per week, after an onboarding period
- Statistical secrecy applies every day
- The Dares will move at the end of 2027
