Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C (adjoint du patrimoine).
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Bachelor's or master's degree in mediation, especially scientific and heritage mediation
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Higher education in scientific or heritage mediation.
- Very good spoken and written skills.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Strong knowledge of natural history.
- Knowledge of the French museum regulations for Musées de France.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
