Civil servants (technician grades) and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant applies.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Bac + 2 minimum
Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar job
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of IT security and its challenges.
- Ability to diagnose, check and repair problems.
- Knowledge of how local authorities work.
- Good listening, rigour, discretion and teaching skills.
- Ability to manage a project and a budget.
- Team spirit and analytical skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
