Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract agent can be hired while waiting for a civil servant, without a competitive exam.

The profile they look for:
- Be able to read instructions, and write and speak French.
- Know cleaning techniques and how to use machines such as a single-disc floor scrubber.
- Follow rules and instructions.
- Work as part of a team.
- Act as an adult role model for pupils.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 17 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply on the employer's website by sending your CV and cover letter. Address them to the President of the departmental council.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
