- Good knowledge of arts teaching institutions and local authorities
- Skills in management, team leadership and project management
- Knowledge of administrative, budget and legal processes
- Strong artistic culture
- Writing, analysis and summary skills
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer’s website, or send your application by post to the town hall, addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Works days, evenings and weekends depending on the school calendar
- Occasional travel within the town and to music shops
