- Very good knowledge of economic development players and institutions.
- Understanding of how businesses work.
- Able to coordinate, lead and work in a team and across teams.
- Knowledge of local authority structures and decision-making.
- Analytical and summarising skills.
- Good written and spoken communication.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
