Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can apply, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BTS in industrial maintenance, GEMEAU or equivalent
Experience: Experience in a demanding technical sector: waste treatment, water, sanitation or industrial maintenance
The profile they look for:
- Technical knowledge of sewage, storm water and hydraulics
- Electrical safety certification and vehicle operating licence
- Knowledge of how local authorities work
- Ability to read plans and diagrams
- Ability to apply procedures carefully
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
