Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because an entry grade of category C is listed.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: At least Bac +2 in tourism, marketing, project management or cultural mediation (for example BTS Tourism or professional bachelor in sales)
Experience: Proven experience in a similar field can be accepted instead of the diploma
The profile they look for:
- Know sales and tourist product creation techniques
- Design attractive tourist products for target groups
- Good skills with office software and the web
- English skills wanted
- Good people skills, listening and organisation
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website or send your application by email to the human resources department, addressed to the President.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B is essential.
- English is wanted.
- A tour guide card would be a plus.
