Open to civil servants and contract agents. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of hygiene rules
- Basic knowledge of occupational risks in school catering
- First aid skills
- Basic knowledge of allergens
- Ability to adapt to each child and to unexpected events
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
