- Proven management skills: leadership, listening, ability to unite teams.
- Sense of organisation, autonomy and teamwork across professions.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Day-rate working time (forfait jour).
- Institutional on-call duties on weekdays, weekends and public holidays (evening or morning).
- Sector duty shifts Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
