Civil servants and contract staff can apply. You must hold the ATSEM competitive exam. People recognised as disabled workers can also be hired on a contract.

The profile they look for:
- CAP early childhood diploma.
- Hold the ATSEM competitive exam.
- Know child development from age 2.
- Apply hygiene and safety rules.
- Communicate well, listen and handle conflicts.
- Be organised, independent and patient.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
