Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.

Diploma: CAP petite enfance (childcare vocational diploma)

The profile they look for:
- CAP petite enfance diploma.
- Hold the ATSEM civil service exam (concours d'ATSEM).
- Know how children develop from age 2.
- Apply basic hygiene and safety rules.
- Able to manage conflicts and communicate well.
- Be independent, responsible, discreet and patient.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 12 (Closes in 15 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the town hall, addressed to the mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Remote work is not possible.
