Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A contract worker may be hired if no civil servant has applied.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP Petite Enfance (or significant experience with children)
Experience: Significant experience with children, instead of the CAP.
The profile they look for:
- CAP Petite Enfance diploma or significant experience with children.
- Good cleaning skills and knowledge of hygiene and food safety rules, including HACCP.
- Basic knowledge of early child psychology.
- Patience, calm and adaptability.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 16 (Closes in 18 days)
Apply online on the Argenteuil city website, in the job offers section, or send your CV and cover letter by post to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
