- Know how to support child development from age 2.
- Apply hygiene and safety rules.
- Handle conflicts well and communicate clearly.
- Be organised, patient and responsible.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter by email to the Gentilly town hall, for the attention of the Mayor. The address is on the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
