Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The job is open at the grades of ATSEM principal 1st class and ATSEM principal 2nd class.

Diploma: CAP petite enfance (early childhood care certificate)

- Hold a CAP petite enfance diploma.
- Hold the ATSEM civil service exam (concours d'ATSEM).
- Know how to communicate and handle conflicts.
- Apply hygiene and safety rules.
- Be independent, responsible, discreet and patient.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
