Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP Petite enfance preferred, not required
Experience: Significant experience in a group early childhood setting, if no CAP
The profile they look for:
- CAP Petite enfance (early childhood diploma) preferred.
- Or significant experience in a group early childhood setting.
- First aid training recommended.
- Active listening, good communication and observation.
- Discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 1 (Closes in 33 days)
Send your CV and cover letter as PDF files by email to the town hall, at the address given in the offer. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working time of 38 hours per week, over 4 days, in a continuous day.
- 20 days of annual leave and 18 RTT days.
- Public transport costs covered.
- Remote work not possible.
