Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP Early Childhood Educational Assistant (AEPE), or a diploma giving access to the ATSEM exam
The profile they look for:
- Holder of the CAP AEPE or a diploma giving access to the ATSEM exam.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Good knowledge of hygiene and safety rules.
- Good observation skills and quick reactions.
- Caring, patient and a good listener.
- Organised and rigorous.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
