Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP accompagnement éducatif petite enfance (early childhood care certificate)
The profile they look for:
- Hold the CAP accompagnement éducatif petite enfance.
- Know child development from age 2.
- Be able to supervise a group of children and run workshops.
- Follow hygiene and safety rules for children.
- Be patient, kind and alert.
- Work well in a team and report back.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
