Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know where your role and job fit.
- Report on your observations and activities.
- Identify and respect the chain of command.
- Adapt to the social and cultural diversity of families.
- Talk with and listen to children.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 30 (Closes tomorrow)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the Mennecy town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Works Monday and Tuesday at La Verville, then Thursday and Friday at L'Ormeteau.
