Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The post is open at the grade of ATSEM principal of 2nd class.

Diploma: CAP Petite Enfance (AEPE), a vocational certificate in early childhood care
The profile they look for:
- Hold the CAP Petite Enfance (AEPE) vocational certificate
- Be able to spot children's needs and difficulties
- Know hygiene and safety rules
- Communicate clearly and kindly with children, using suitable language
- Be organised, adaptable and able to handle stress
- Work as a team with teachers and colleagues
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job: 40 hours in school periods, with 27 RTT days off.
- Hours from 7:30 to 17:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; Wednesday once a month.
- Meal vouchers, employer contribution to health and provident insurance, and CNAS.
