Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the grades of ATSEM principal 1st class and principal 2nd class.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP early childhood care or equivalent, plus ATSEM competitive exam
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Know child development and hygiene and safety rules
- Keep children physically, emotionally and morally safe
- Be independent, responsive, organised and serious
- Have good relationships with children and teachers
- Work well in a team and handle conflicts
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 29 (Closes in 32 days)
Apply on the employer's website. The application can also be sent by email to the human resources team before 29/11/2026.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C, no management role.
- Remote work is not possible.
