Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. The job is open at the grades of senior ATSEM 1st or 2nd class. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant has applied.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP early childhood or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- CAP early childhood diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of child physical and psychological development.
- First aid and emergency skills (PSC).
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules.
- Kindness, discretion and patience.
- Ability to work in a team with teachers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 18 days)
Send your cover letter and CV by email to the town hall, or by post to the Hôtel de Ville. Apply before 15 November 2026.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job.
- Remote work not possible.
- Availability needed for school, after-school and holiday schedules.
- Job vacant from 1 January 2027.
