Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the grades of principal ATSEM 1st and 2nd class.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP petite enfance, or ATSEM civil service exam
The profile they look for:
- Hold a CAP petite enfance diploma, or be a civil servant who passed the ATSEM exam.
- Support child development from age 2.
- Follow hygiene and safety rules.
- Keep children safe.
- Listen well, communicate and handle conflicts.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
