Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The offer asks for the ATSEM civil service exam (concours d'ATSEM).
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: A diploma in early childhood care is a plus.
Experience: Experience in a similar job is wanted (confirmed level).
The profile they look for:
- Able to work well in a team and value public service.
- Know how children develop and how they think and feel.
- Know hygiene and safety rules.
- Able to prepare and run activities.
- Patient, good listener and discreet at work.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 21 (Closes in 23 days)
Send your CV and cover letter by email to the mayor, with a copy to the town hall, before 21 November 2026. The offer also has a link to apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- No remote work.
- Full-time job of 35 hours a year on average: school periods on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
- During school holidays, a deeper cleaning of the school.
