Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because one of the grades open is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: A diploma in the childcare sector is a plus.
Experience: Experience in a similar job is welcome (experienced level).
The profile they look for:
- Be able to work in a team and organise your work.
- Know child development and child psychology.
- Know hygiene and safety rules.
- Show patience, listening skills and discretion.
- Be adaptable and versatile.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 15 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by post to the town hall before 13 November 2026.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time job of 32 hours a year on average.
- During school term: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
- Remote work not possible.
- Job vacant from 1 December 2026.
