Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A contract agent can be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded. The post is open to the grade of ATSEM principal 2nd class.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP petite enfance, or holding the ATSEM competitive exam
Experience: Confirmed (experienced) level

- Know child development from age 2 to 6
- Follow hygiene and safety rules
- Hold the CAP petite enfance or the ATSEM competitive exam
- Work well in a team and serve the public good
- Communicate clearly and adapt to different families
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 15 days)
Apply on the employer's website, linked from the official offer page. Send your documents to the mayor and the Human Resources department before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time post: 38 hours per week with RTT days off
- Responsible for the safety of minor children
- Very noisy work environment
- Remote work not possible
