Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP petite enfance (early childhood care)
Experience: Experienced candidate
The profile they look for:
- CAP petite enfance diploma.
- Hold the ATSEM civil service exam.
- Know how children develop.
- Apply basic hygiene and safety rules.
- Communicate well and handle conflicts.
- Be independent, responsible, discreet and patient.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 23 (Closes in 25 days)
Apply on the employer's website. Send a cover letter and a CV addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Open grades: ATSEM principal 2nd or 1st class.
