Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP AEPE or ATSEM competitive exam
Experience: Ideally, experience in a similar job in a local authority.
The profile they look for:
- Hold a CAP AEPE or the ATSEM competitive exam.
- Know and follow hygiene and safety rules.
- Be well organised.
- Show patience and listen well.
- React well to unexpected situations.
- Make suggestions and take initiative.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 30 (Closes tomorrow)
Send your application only by post to the town hall of Le Cannet. The site says to apply on the employer site, but the town hall asks for a paper letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Working time is annualised.
- Category C post, on the grade of principal 2nd class ATSEM.
