Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C. Candidates recognised as disabled workers can also apply through a contract.

- Understand child development from age 2.
- Apply basic hygiene and safety rules.
- Be able to set up games and activities.
- Be able to manage conflicts and communicate well.
- Be independent, responsible, discreet and patient.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your cover letter and CV to the town hall, as stated in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
