Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.

Diploma: CAP petite enfance (early childhood care certificate)
The profile they look for:
- Hold the CAP petite enfance diploma.
- Know how children develop from age 2.
- Follow basic hygiene and safety rules.
- Be a good listener, handle conflicts and communicate well.
- Be well organised.
- Be independent, responsible, patient and discreet.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
