Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: CAP petite enfance (childcare vocational diploma)
The profile they look for:
- Hold a CAP petite enfance diploma.
- Know how children develop from age 2.
- Apply hygiene and safety rules.
- Be able to manage conflicts and communicate.
- Be well organised.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 5 days)
Apply on the employer's website, from the offer on Choisir le Service Public. The cover letter and CV are addressed to the mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours Monday to Friday, with breaks and a lunchtime shift.
- Position vacant from 01/12/2026, pending the recruitment of a civil servant.
- The contract cannot exceed one year, renewable up to 2 years in total.
- Remote work not possible.
