Civil servants of the territorial public service and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the grades of senior ATSEM first or second class.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP petite enfance (early childhood care) and BAFA
Experience: Beginner accepted
The profile they look for:
- CAP early childhood care (CAP petite enfance) and BAFA.
- Good knowledge of child development from age 2 to 6.
- Follows basic hygiene and safety rules.
- Able to handle conflicts and communicate respectfully.
- Organised, independent, discreet and patient.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send a CV and a cover letter to the Mayor, by post or by email. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time: 29 hours out of 35, spread over the school year.
- Leave can only be taken during school holidays.
- At least one evening per week in after-school care, until 5:15 pm.
- Remote work is not possible.
