Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The posts are open to the grades of principal ATSEM 1st or 2nd class.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP AEPE or CAP Petite Enfance
Experience: Experienced, or CAP AEPE or CAP Petite Enfance diploma
The profile they look for:
- Active listening, communication and observing children
- Knowledge of child psychology
- Rules for personal hygiene and feeding young children
- Methods to calm and resolve conflicts
- CAP AEPE or CAP Petite Enfance, or work experience
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 5 days)
Send your application by email to the town hall, for the attention of the Mayor. The apply button on the offer leads to the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
