Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The post is open at the grade of ATSEM principal de 2e classe.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced level
The profile they look for:
- Must have passed the ATSEM competitive exam.
- Be available early in the morning and in the evening.
- Have a good sense of teamwork.
- Have good interpersonal skills.
- Show rigour and good organisation.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer’s website, or send your application to the town hall or by email, as stated in the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Long working hours, from 7:15 to 18:15.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
- A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant applies.
