Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The job is open for the grade of senior ATSEM, 2nd class.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP AEPE or ATSEM civil service exam
The profile they look for:
- Hold the CAP AEPE diploma or the ATSEM civil service exam.
- Know child development from age 2.
- Apply basic hygiene and safety rules.
- Show kindness, patience and calm.
- Work well in a team and handle conflicts.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website or send your application by email or by post to the town hall's HR department, before 6 November 2026.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- School term hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8am to 5:30pm.
- Holidays must be taken only during school holidays.
- Remote work is not possible.
