Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the category C grade allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Level V diploma in electricity, or recognised equivalent experience
The profile they look for:
- Vocational diploma (level V) in electricity, or recognised equivalent experience.
- Technical knowledge of second-fix building work.
- Ability to read plans.
- Knowledge of building upkeep rules.
- Methodical work organisation and time management.
- Rigour, efficiency and teamwork skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
