1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A candidate without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C. Disabled workers can also apply through a contract route.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 15 days)
Send your application by email to the town hall's personnel department, at the address given in the offer. A button also lets you apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours are Tuesday to Saturday, with occasional night, Sunday and public holiday work.
- On-call duty in summer, rotating between teams.
- Place of work: Municipal Police.
