Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Be welcoming, caring and available.
- Adapt communication to children, parents and colleagues.
- Observe well and help prevent risks with families.
- Question and adjust your own practice when needed.
- Respect professional confidentiality and the daycare rules.
- Work well as part of a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 9 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the link on the official offer on Choisir le Service Public. You can also send your CV and cover letter to the mairie's Human Resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
