Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who is not a civil servant can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of how a SDIS works.
- Basic knowledge of administrative and financial procedures.
- Good skills with office software.
- Use of business software (Civil Net Finances, SimplyDesk).
- Interest in digital tools and understanding of an IT environment.
- Rigour, discretion and good listening and teaching skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) preferred.
- Variable working hours.
- Meals: meal vouchers of 7 euros per day worked, with a 60% contribution from the works council (COS).
- Employer contribution to health insurance: 50 euros per month.
