Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person without a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Strict respect of professional secrecy and procedures
- Office skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Good knowledge of the firefighting environment
- Discretion and availability
- Driving licence category B
- Physically able to handle and carry loads
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your file by email to the HR department or by post before 30/11/2026.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Occasional urgent deliveries with a service vehicle.
- Position vacant from 01/01/2027.
- Driving licence category B required.
