Civil servants in category A or B from the three public service branches can apply. Contract staff must have a level 7 diploma and at least 4 years of experience.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: National diploma at level 7 (master or equivalent)
Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience for contract staff. Internships do not count. Experience linked to the relevant case types is preferred.
The profile they look for:
- Excellent knowledge of criminal law and criminal procedure
- Good accounting knowledge and knowledge of company law
- Good understanding of the court system
- Strong analysis, writing and summary skills
- Rigour, discretion and teamwork
- Excellent command of French and legal terminology
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Post vacant from 1 December 2026.
- You cannot be hired in a court district where you practised for less than two years as a lawyer, notary or commissaire de justice.
- Category A (managerial grade).
