Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The entry grade in category C allows direct hiring, without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: 3 to 5 years, in public animation, public reception or a related field.
The profile they look for:
- Solid knowledge of astronomy, environment and Earth sciences.
- Experience running groups, active teaching and simplifying science for the public.
- Comfortable with all audiences, especially children aged 3 to 10.
- Office software skills and use of Sky Explorer software.
- Good French and English, spoken and written.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Category C post, on the adjoint technique or agent de maîtrise grades.
- The BAFA or experience supervising groups is an advantage.
