Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly for this entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Basic child psychology.
- Basic hygiene and nutrition for young children.
- Active listening, communication and observation skills.
- Conflict regulation and resolution techniques.
- Knowledge of the centre's educational and teaching project.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
No deadline given: the offer can be withdrawn at any time, do not wait.
Send your CV and cover letter by email to the employer. There are no phone calls.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
