Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. The post is open to several grades in the artistic education job families. A contract worker can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: DEM level at least in an instrument; C.A. or D.E. in music theory
The profile they look for:
- Instrumental training with at least the DEM level.
- Teaching training validated by a C.A. or a D.E. in music theory.
- Skills in music theory for dancers or singers are a plus.
- Team spirit and good interpersonal skills.
- Public service ethos and knowledge of the territorial civil service.
- Openness to baroque, contemporary and jazz music.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
