Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. The grades concerned are assistant d'enseignement artistique, principal 1st class or principal 2nd class.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Diploma in music studies from a conservatoire or equivalent, in guitar. Training or experience in contemporary music is an asset.
The profile they look for:
- Excellent command of acoustic guitar, ideally electric guitar too.
- Good knowledge of different music styles.
- Able to lead a group in a teaching and motivating way.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to adapt teaching to different levels.
- Good organisation skills for managing a class.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
