Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A contract staff member can only be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: DEM (diplôme d'études musicales) at minimum
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Holds at least the DEM diploma
- Good teaching and people skills
- Able to work alone and in a team
- Sense of public service
- Good experience of music teaching in a local authority
- Able to adapt to working hours and to each student's level
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 5 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your application to the town hall by post or email, addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
